After launching the racquets range in 1994, the company needed someone to boost its sales, which happened from the hands of Carlos Moya who was the first player to win a Grand Slam with Babolat racquets.

Those unknown names include Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters who were given free Babolat racquets. After that, these unknown players went on to win the Grand Slam after the Grand Slam which ultimately made Babolat a hugely demanded brand and the sales skyrocketed.
