The Beginning

In 1977 The Tennis Company (now The Tennis & Golf Co.), first opened its doors in Southfield, MI, outfitting and supporting the tennis community.  Read the full store here. Now fast forward 40 plus years and our 20,000 square foot retail store, now located in Royal Oak, MI, continues to outfit the same tennis, golf & pickleball communities, including schools, collegiate and club athletes alike. In 2019 we launched TennisRacquets.com to provide a superior online shopping experience to our loyal customers and be able to deliver that same level of service to enthusiast across the country.  And the rest is history from there.
