2020 welcomes the 6th generation of the highly versatile Yonex EZONE series. With some pretty impressive updates, the Yonex EZONE 108 Tennis Racquet offers beginners and intermediates even more stability, comfort, and spin than ever before. The new EZONE series receives a total frame makeover by increasing the width at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions to create the largest sweet spot in EZONE history! The shape of the frame has also been updated, the new aero-shaped frame varies the outer angle in the middle and upper hoop for a plush and comfortable feel, while the lower hoop of the frame is angled for stability. The Liner Tech string technology continues with this new EZONE series by using straight hole grommets to elongate the strings. This helps to create more power and comfort, even when contact is less than ideal. The EZONE 108 weighs in at a very light 9.6 ounces strung and contains a spin-friendly 16x18 wide open string pattern. The balance of the EZONE 108 (1 pts HL) compliments players with medium length strokes by offering good stability at contact. The graphite of the EZONE series also receives an impressive renovation, the M40X graphite material provides great strength and elasticity to the throat that improves frame stability and flex. Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM) is added to the graphite within the grip for added touch and precision. This filters unwanted vibrations, and keeps players comfortable throughout the match.
